The Virginia Military Institute’s parade conducted Sept. 17 in Lexington honored the Virginia, Maryland and Washington D.C. National Guard Soldiers of the 29th Infantry Division, 116th Infantry Regiment and all the Virginia communities represented in the June 6, 1944 D-Day Invasion at Normandy, France.
