On the 16th of July, 2024, the leftist publisher Repeater Books, an imprint of Watkins Media, announced the departure of its main editor Tariq Goddard with an extensive leaving statement.[1] Goddard, who founded the imprint with the writer Mark Fisher, did so after leaving their previously-established imprint, 0 Books, after a heated dispute with the parent company, John Hunt Publishing.
