Bhagwan Shree Rajneesh, Indian spiritual leader who preached an eclectic doctrine of Eastern mysticism, individual devotion, and sexual freedom. In 1982 he incorporated Rajneeshpuram, a new city he planned to build near Antelope, Oregon. The movement soon came under investigation for multiple felonies.
