Now that my first 3 months are up, my manager has scheduled our first official feedback meeting. He mentioned that he plans to ask his manager (“the big boss”) for input because he thinks the big boss might have a better impression of me. The problem is: the big boss barely knows me. Still, I’m wondering: should I clarify in the feedback meeting that the big boss barely knows me? Or would that come across as defensive or awkward?
