Das Naturparadies Grünhaus in Südbrandenburg ist ein wichtiger Rastplatz für Zugvögel. Während des herbstlichen Vogelzugs 2021 zählten Vogelbeobachter über 16.000 Wildgänse und etwa 1.000 Kraniche in dem ehemaligen Tagebaugebiet.
