Thanks to willing landowners interested in helping to return the shoreline to it’s natural condition, SPSSEG, with the help of Quigg Bros Construction, removed 700 tons of concrete, rip-rap and other miscellaneous debris from the east lob of Little Fish Trap spit and removed 240 linear feet of eco-block bulkhead. Removing the debris will allow natural beach processes to reshape the spit to its historic alignment. It will be very interesting to watch how the spit reshapes over the next decad...
