With Bright Angel Trail below Havasupai Gardens being closed through May 14, 2025, and the River Trail remaining closed through September 30, 2025 (for waterline construction) the South Kaibab Trail is the primary trail for hiking into the canyon to access Phantom Ranch and the North Kaibab Trail.
