It was a typical Monday, start of the week, in a beautiful April springtime. Like a usual Monday, it was a working day and a school day. The streets were busy, you can hear the vehicles honking, the train sounds signalling the arrival and departure of the trains. From our windows, you can see the people crossing the streets, trying to beat the stoplight to get to the bus stop, to enter the metro/train station and in our neighborhood, you can see the small and medium enterprises opening thei...| Isay Says:My Personal Tales
Holy Week is a period of profound reflection. For believers like me (and for practicing and non-practicing Catholics) we make good use of the Holy Week break to reflect on the Paschal Mysteries, the passion, death and resurrection of our dear Savior, Lord Jesus and to take the much needed time off from our busy schedule. | Isay Says:My Personal Tales
Japan in the last decade or so, has been named as one of the top tourist destinations. Its hyper efficient structure and infrastructure, culture, way of life, amazing and unbeatable gastronomic offerings, tourist spots and the animes and manga culture which are some of its contribution to pop culture are some of the reasons why Japan has been consistently included in the "places to visit", "bucket list" of many people. | Isay Says:My Personal Tales

I am blessed to be given the privilege to visit for the 4th time Dubai, United Arab Emirates on November 2023. The first three trips were with my husband and my son. This 4th visit was solely by myself to spend time with my maternal relatives. | Isay Says:My Personal Tales
Just Do It is a well known slogan and a trademark of Nike. This phrase has reinforced Nike´s position as a global leader in sports and casual living merchandise brand more than the sneakers or footwear product. This catchy slogan though was initially launched as a marketing brand, on hindsight, brings a powerful message on a personal note. In this piece, I would like to share with you my personal view on this million dollar phrase, Just Do It. | Isay Says:My Personal Tales

We have witnessed and we continue to witness how the role of being a woman has evolved in our society. The capability of mothers to be integrated in the formal professional workforce is a testament to women empowerment which we are celebrating. | Isay Says:My Personal Tales

Even if we were aware that coronavirus started in Wuhan sometime December 2019, nobody saw its rapid spread across the globe. Governments made hurried decisions to shutdown the countries´borders and to confine the citizens in their home as a corrective measure. Suddenly, we are facing a new way of life. Working from home while homeschooling our children, literally staying at home and being with our family 24/7, queuing to buy anything (medicines, groceries, pastries, etc), using face ma...| Isay Says:My Personal Tales
The star of this weekend´s ALTANGHAP (ALmusal, TANGhalian, HAPunan, literally means: Breakfast, lunch and dinner - the Filipino way) and repeat performances (meaning it can be eaten, reheated in the microwave until supplies last 😁😃😊😉 is CABBAGE (Repolyo in Tagalog or Repollo in Spanish). For this weekend, I prepared: Cabbage Rolls and Sauteed Cabbage with Canned Sardines (Ginisang Repolyo with De latang Sardinas) | Isay Says:My Personal Tales
Spain has been in a state of emergency and quarantine since March 12 due to covid pandemic. This means that academic institutions were closed and replaced by online, virtual classes. Government has mandated enterprises to practice work from home if possible. All business related activities (tourism, etc) that cannot work from home have been shut down except in the cases of healthcare, drugstores and food/supermarkets. All with the objective to reduce people in the street and stop the sprea...| Isay Says:My Personal Tales
Today, April 26, after 46 days of confinement, the Spain government allowed the children, infant to 12 years old, to go outdoors. This is a milestone as we are flattening the curve, there are lower incidents of new Covid cases and for the past few days, the statistics of the treated patients are higher than the victims. Praise and Thank God for His mercy and healing grace. | Isay Says:My Personal Tales
Working from home with the kiddos is literally juggling between the kids, family and work. My 9 year old love of my life, my precious son, is always understanding with our work commitments. But there are days that he is more clingy. And when he sits on my lap and looks at me with the puppy eyes, please mom look, how can my heart not melt and give in? In one of my conference calls, he gladly obliged for a Q&A as I cannot move away from my laptop and my headset. 😀😀| Isay Says:My Personal Tales

The kitchen is my sanctuary. I am so fortunate that in this period of quarantine, I am able to do mindful cooking. And the result is tastier, more delicious food!! My outpouring love as I cooked the dishes was so evident in the taste!! | Isay Says:My Personal Tales

Netflix catalogue and the latest in streaming has been a staple group conversation topic in this time of quarantine. I get all thrilled seeing comments, images, features on Korean dramas in my feed! Kdramas give a totally wholesome feel good and giddy impact. It´s funny because as the years go by, as more and more kdramas are produced, they just keep getting better!! | Isay Says:My Personal Tales
