Focus of September 2025: π Resumed Anki Japanese after suspending about 300+ words. π Finishing Nemesis Games by James S. A. Corey and Permutation City by Greg Egan ππ» doing 16:8 fasting by skipping the milk in my coffee β β a sketch a day even if it means my mini sketchbook for 5 seconds Decided to write a focus per month to be able to keep track of and maybe even reflect at the end of the month. This does not mean I don't do other things, but they are the focus. My partner i...| Konfetti Explorations Feeds
There is something strange about this. I bought his "most difficult book", Γ’β¬β Schild's Ladder Γ’β¬β but I felt I should continue this one before I read it. And it suddenly feels easy! I actually understand a lot of what is happening even if sometimes I am a bit lost, especially with the experiments part, which one is which? But for the rest, it is reading smoothly and I am enjoying it again! I guess I did need a break from hard Sci-Fi.| Konfetti Explorations Feeds
Good morning! That's a wrap up for the August #indiewebcarnival ! I got exactly 31 entries! Almost one per day π I will be drafting the review post this week and hopefully have it live before Monday. I am alone with the kids for 3 days, so we will have to take it easy and hope for the best (like not forgetting my keys inside π ) Thank you everyone who participated! I loved it! I also signed up for next year, so hopefully see you all around then again! #blogging #blog #IndieWeb Thank you ...| Konfetti Explorations Feeds
Kate eyed his bloodless wound, and said quietly, "Solipsist Nation doesn't mean dying of stupidity. You take your body apart, and you think it proves you're invulnerable? You plant a few forced-perspective memories, and you think you`ve already lived forever? I don't want some cheap illusion of immortality. I want the real thing."| Konfetti Explorations Feeds
Have I been quiet? Oh I've just been busy with the IndieWeb Carnival. Almost at the end! It has been so much I had barely read the last entries with the same care I read the firsts. But I will get to them. My document is huge... and I need to review them one by one with my reflection. Thankfully I did that already with the first half as they come much slower at the start of the month. After half way I started to lag behind. Certainly also because I spend more time with family than alone these...| Konfetti Explorations Feeds
Post no. 12 : Blaugust 2025 ο»Ώ- Nostalgia The years fly by in the blink of an eye. We donβt really understand this until time progresses β when enough years have gone by to give weight to memories, dreams, mortality. When you see children grow, saying goodbye to who they once were, rejoicing in who they are becoming. When you realize some people in the room can no longer relate to your stories, for your reality began in ways they will never comprehend. So, you let go. The years fly by in...| Konfetti Explorations Feeds
Post no. 10 : Blaugust 2025 ο»Ώ- Nostalgia Previous essay I count as post no. 9, even though it has nothing to do with the theme. This is a reply entry for Joel's post about novelty losing its thrill. Thursday mornings. Tortuguita keeps waking up 10 minutes before 6 a.m. With soft words and cuddles I manage to keep her in bed until 6 a.m. β I prefer 7 a.m. but that is a wish that has to wait. While she watches her morning cartoons 1, I use this time to wake up, make coffee, prepare her brea...| Konfetti Explorations Feeds
Post no. 11 : Blaugust 2025 ο»Ώ- Nostalgia About forgetting my phone and staying analogue for a few hours It really felt like old times. I set the date to yesterday, because this was meant for yesterday. And it is number 11, because I posted it after the one of today haha Pardon my chaos as I figure out this writing rhythm again. βShoes on, Iβll pack the bag.β My child ignores me, no matter how many times I say the phrase shoes on. I finished this book after taking it slow. I wanted to deep read it, slowly and digest it, with one goal in mind. To write about blogging -- as opposed to corporate social media -- as a way to return to narration. (And yes, I want to start separating "corporate social media" from "open social media". Essay coming soon!| Konfetti Explorations Feeds
What a time travel journey. Not just in history of stargazing, but my own history work the stars. How I miss the milky way, how i miss the meteor showers, the crickets, the frogs, the music of darkness and the stars dancing to it's melody. I wish I could dream tonight with the stars. I miss them so much...| Konfetti Explorations Feeds
